Concours 101 Training, Sunday March 2, 2025
Smoky Mountain Region PCA will hold a Concours judges training on Sunday, March 2 at Harpers Car Wash – Bearden on Deane Hill Drive (6318 Deane Hill Dr, Knoxville, TN 37919). The school will give the participants an overview of judging PCA‘s concours events. You will learn what the judges look for and how they score the car being judged. The school will be lead by members of Smoky Mountain Region who are PCA national judges.
The participant will have the opportunity to judge a Porsche and receive feedback from the National PCA judges. The school will be fun and laid-back introduction to judging a Concours event. The school will be the first step for people who want to be future SMT Concours judges or better understand how to prepare your car to be judged.
The school will start at Noon March 2nd and will last for about two hours max. This facility has a large indoor heated bay and we will be holding the training in this area. The participants will practice judging real cars and get feedback from the instructors. RSVP Mike Parker to rmp964@comcast.net?Subject=Concours school participation or call 865-919-1534 by February 25 to register. We need a rough count of attendees so that we can prepare the support material for the school.
This is a fun event and takes all the mystery out of Concours participation.
