The folks at Rennsport Dragon Rally posted another good time, hosting 224 (mostly) Porsches over three days on some of East Tennessee’s and Western North Carolina’s greatest mountain roads. We ran The Dragon, Moonshiner 28, Hellbender, Foothills Parkway, Happy Valley Road, and bunch of smaller roads we never have heard of!
Each day we checked in, got ready, got briefed, then hit the roads. We ended up running The Dragon four times, some of use five! On Saturday there was a block party at Appalachian Driving Experience in Murphy, and on Sunday we ended with a BBQ dinner at The Hub 129 (our base of operations).
Eurotech Knoxville was the main sponsor, providing great on-site support, and passed out some great swag. Many PCA Smoky Mountain Region members participated, and a great time was had by all. Next one is June 4-6, 2021, and again will be sponsored by Eurotech.
