Vaughn & Louise led a group driving over to the Gatlinburg Airport, taking some very nice and scenic back roads. We arrived to share the tarmac with some vintage planes, a total of 30+ Porsches, and have some fun. There was food, planes, music, and fast cars. S0me were ride in a 1927 WACO open cockpit and see the Smokies, or even take a quick chopper ride. The “show” was open to the public, so some local folks came by as well.
It was a warm one, but fun times were had by all! And for afters, some of us headed to the Bush’s Beans Visitor Center and FULL restaurant (whoda’ thunk?) for some Pinto Bean Chocolate Pie a la Mode. Ohhhhh myyyyy…
