November 10-13, 2021, Braselton, Georgia
This month about a dozen Smoky Mountain Region members went to North Georgia to watch fast cars. Rick and Janis set up the motorhome on the turn 9 straight, and we watched, wandered, toured, and ate and had a great time. Porsche took First and Second in the GTLM class in the last American run of the 911 RSRs. Three Porsche 911 GT3Rs took Second, Fifth, and Eighth in the GTD class. Full results are online.
Porsche had an excellent Porsche Owners’ pavilion (free ice cream and snacks!) and the PCA Porscheplatz allowed some Rock Star parking, a tent to view the races from, and free Diet Cokes.
