October Driving Tour Potluck, Murphy NC

Saturday/Sunday, September 23-24, Drive and Potluck Dinner

The Woontners and Fischers hosted a Potluck Dinner at their side-by-side mountaintop cabins outside of Murphy, NC. The tour entailed a led driving tour to the cabins on some of East Tennessee’s and West North Carolina’s gorgeous roads, then social hour followed by BBQ and Potluck sides and desserts. Some of us returned on another led trip down the Moonshiner 28 and the Tail of the Dragon.

We had about 20 folks, the weather was fantastic, the company excellent, and views were amazing across the Hiwassee Valley. We rounded off Saturday evening with a bonfire, then most retired to their accommodations in town.
