THURSDAY, OCTOBER 3
Harper Porsche held their launch of the new Porsche 992 at Hunter Valley Farm in a 1960s themed event. Janis Joplin glasses, Flower Power, psychodelic balloons, and vinyl records completed the scene. About 200 showed up, including a large contingent of Smoky Mountain Region members.
Outside was the coupe version under cover, and the cab was inside the pavilion. After some eats, drinks, and a brief introduction, the cab was uncovered. Stunning. New lines here, hints of old lines there, a beautiful amalgamation of the car’s history in a new model.
