NOVEMBER 3, 2019
Another beautiful day, off to Dollywood Splash Mountain’s wonderful parking lot, and another awesome Mr. Rick course. Today’s theme: Uphill speed, then a maze of twisties. Only one long run, some boxes to put the brakes on here and there, and a 180 degree pinion. We were setup quickly (thank you volunteers!), had 29 drivers, and were able to herd these cats into 6 runs each.
Good Laps were about mid-60 seconds, and the FTOD went to some other manufacturer (a ringer in a hot ‘Stang, Jeff) at 58.34. Some new tires were obviously in need for some… We wrapped it up by 2:30 and headed Holstens for grub, brews, and telling lies.
Thanks to all that came, and remember, this is what they are built for!
