July 28-30, 2017 – two-night drive out to Porsche Experience Center
We’re currently in the planning stages of a two-night drive out to Atlanta where the highlight of the trip will be a visit to the Porsche Experience Center (PEC). Plans are to depart on Friday afternoon, July 28th and return on Sunday, July 30th.
We currently have reservations at the Porsche Experience Center on Saturday, July 29th from 11:00 to 4:30 PM. The tour will include time on their driving simulator, lunch at 356 Club and a guided tour of One Porsche Center.
We will need at least 25 people to be registered to make this work, so please sign up as soon as possible. After a cutoff date we will have to open registration up to the public to meet the minimum.
Additionally, as an option to the visit, we have arranged for “hot seat” rides with a Porsche professional driver on their 1.6 mile driver development track.
The visit to PEC is being organized through David Heiden at P-Car Touring. The price of the visit to PEC is $79.50 per person and the optional “hot seat” rides are $54.50 per ride. Registration for this drive out is limited to the first 40 people that sign up.
While detailed planning in terms of route, hotel accommodations, etc. is ongoing, registration for the visit to PEC has been activated. We do have a block of rooms reserved at a nearby Homewood Suites. If you’re planning to attend this event, you’re encourage to go ahead and register for the tour. This will ensure your spot.
