October 16 – 18 – Two night drive out to Banner Elk, NC being planned by Rich McGowan. Please note, this is a prime time of year so the hotel has a 2 night minimum. Due to the precautions necessary, we will have a 10 car maximum.
Because of the 10 car limit, we have some flexibility in options to get there. It’s about a 3 hour drive from Knoxville to Banner Elk. However, there are many scenic options to play with if you wish. We don’t necessarily have to travel together, but if we did, we could meet at the rest area just east of Dandridge.

We’ve arranged a group dinner at a local Italian restaurant for Saturday night, so Friday will be on your own, there are a lot of options close by. This Best Western hosts other Porsche events so they’re familiar with us. The rate is $162.91 per night including taxes. Once I have your name on the list I’ll email you the contact info for the hotel. We can correspond as a group to figure out what everyone wants to do for the drive up.
