An annual favorite, our Drive Out to Kingswood Home for Children. This drive out will begin in the morning and we will provide lunch for the residents and staff at Kingswood Home. This is a great opportunity to learn more about our selected Charity and meet some of the beneficiaries.
Last year was a great time. This year, however, we will not be able to provide short rides in our Porsches to the children due to insurance requirements (thanks, Matt…). Please do not do that as it will cancel our insurance with PCA for that event. I know that everyone enjoyed that last year, however, this year it is simply not possible.
This will be a great trip with lots of fun. If you can attend, please contact Rich McGowan at rich@musfiber.com. We will meet at Harper Collision at 8:30, departing at 9AM sharp. Bob Baugh is helping out and will lead the group from Knoxville to the rest area by Cherokee Lake in Jefferson City. We will have a bathroom stop at Cherokee Dam after a 1 hour drive. After that we will continue on to the school on a fun road, arriving at 10:30.
Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers will again be grilling hamburgers, so you’ll have a chance to grab a burger with all the trimmings if you wish. Kingswood will have some tents set up for shade so bring some chairs. We will have access to an indoor facility in case of rain so this will happen rain or shine.
