Kingswood Home Drive Out 2018

June 16, 2018

We are planning a day drive on some fun roads to Kingswood Home in Bean Station, TN. on June 16. This is a home for kids that have been abandoned, removed from a bad environment, and who have been unloved most of their lives. Until they found this home that is.

We will meet at the Pilot station at 5402 Rutledge Pike (11W) at 8:30. This is roughly 1.5 miles East of I-40 on East side of Knoxville after you exit the interstate. We will depart at 9AM sharp, and will have a bathroom stop at Cherokee Dam after a 45 minute drive. After that we will continue on some fun roads, arriving at 10:30.

Kingswood - Restoring Lives, Giving Hope, and Glorifying Christ

They now have hope in their lives. We are doing this drive so that these kids can see and experience cars they would otherwise never be able to see up close. They can touch and smell them, hear them, and maybe get a ride on a perimeter road on the campus.

We’ll drive on some back roads and arrive at the school in the morning. We have lined up Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers. Pretty good, fresh burgers with all trimmings.

We’ll be done around 1 PM so you can still enjoy the rest of the day.

Email Rich McGowan at rich@musfiber.com let him know you’re coming, we want to make sure Freddy’s has enough burgers!
