See Details in Calendar Highlights. PCA SIM Racing Zone 3 Sends 11 drivers to the Zone Group Championship Series! Zone 3 has eleven drivers that have qualified to represent the Zone Group containing our Zone in the PCA Sim Racing Zone Group Championship race series on iRacing! Each PCA Zone Group was able to send its top eight drivers in each of PCA Sim Racing’s four driver classes. The qualifying drivers for Zone 3 are Rafael Amorim (Peachstate Region), Travis Brodie (Palmetto Region), Jacob Shum (Carolinas Region), Jonathan Shum (Carolinas Region), Daniel Florian (Wilderness Trail Region), Gary Reiss (Peachstate Region), Curtis Krumel (Carolinas Region), Donald Binkley (Musik Stadt Region), Will Mungia (Peachstate Region), Bo Rogers (Peachstate Region), and David Purdy (Peachstate Region). The Zone Group Championship begins on February 16th / 18th at Auto Club Speedway. Barber Motorsports Park will be on February 23rd / 25th. The series concludes at Virginia International Raceway on March 2nd / 4th. See https://pcasimracing.com/2022-zone-group-championship/ for more details. 2021 PCA Membership Growth Award Contest winners: Congratulations to the Upper Canada Region and Puerto Rico Region for winning the 2021 Membership Growth Award Contest. Zone 3 showed well in the contest for Factored Growth with Wilderness Trail almost defending it’s 2020 win and coming in second and Three Rivers making the the Top Five! Congrats to both! The contest resets for 2022 and all PCA Regions have a chance at winning this year!  2022 Events are Up on Zone 3 Calendar! The Zone 3 Calendar (HERE) has been updated with A BUNCH of 2022 events. Important to note the events shown may be rescheduled or cancelled so confirming with the host Region before the event is a good plan. The Zone 3 calendar is focused on the major events that might attract members from other regions and is not designed to take the place of any Region’s website calendar. In fact, the Region websites will be even more critical to check for event information in 2022 as local ordinances will probably change throughout the year and may alter the nature of events or the ability for your Region to execute an event, but the local Region website is always the go to for all events happening in a given Region.
