Upcoming HPDE event at VIR for 9-11 June 2023. If you are one of our Solo Drivers, don’t miss out on the opportunity to run VIR’s GRAND COURSE on Friday. We haven’t done this in a long time, and it’s a treat for anyone who hasn’t been on it. The Grand Course takes a turn to the right at the hill on the back straight and adds 15 corners, including turns over a blind crest. It’s a tight, technical test of your driving skills while keeping the high speed front straight for those with a need for the rush of wind past the open window.
In addition to our beginner registrants (GREEN and BLUE Groups) – We’ll be enabling something new this year, which is the TRACK EXPERIENCE. In this format you attend a 30 minute session to talk about High Performance Driver Education, and then ride with a seasoned track guide for a Green (Beginner) group run session, which is about 25 minutes on track. We provide the helmets and a car you can ride in, with a detailed view of what you will experience in an actual DE run group. The cost for this is $50 and provides a lower entry point to experience what being on track, at speed, is all about.
