Fort Southwest Point, Kingston, December 9, 2023
On our Fall Fest 2023 driving tour, Fort Southwest Point in Kingston was one of our pit stops. They were very gracious, and historically interesting, hosts, and they told us about an event coming up that would be a nice “unofficial driving tour event”. On December 9th, 2023, from 6-9PM Fort Southwest Point will be hosting their annual Fort Southwest Point Annual Candlelight Christmas Tour.
This event is co-sponsored by the Fort Southwest Point Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and The City of Kingston Parks and Recreation Department. We will be able to tour the grounds by candlelight, hear and feel the history of Christmas in the late 1700″s. Also, period refreshments provided.
A number of SMTPCA members on the driving tour expressed interest in attending the event. They are located at 1225 S Kentucky St, Kingston, TN 37763.
