Join us on Saturday, May 16, 2026 for our May Driving Tour! 🚗🌳This scenic country drive features a great mix of long sweeping curves, beautiful “tree tunnels,” and an extended stretch alongside Watts Bar Lake. It’s a passenger-friendly route, so feel free to bring a friend or partner along to enjoy the ride.
- Meet Time: 9:00 AM
- Drivers’ meeting: 9:15 AM
- Departure: 9:30 AM
We’ll gather at the Exxon station just off I-75 and SR-72. About an hour into the drive, we’ll make a short stop before continuing on to Loudon, with an expected arrival around 1:00 PM.
Once we arrive, you’ll have several lunch options—choose whatever sounds best to you: - Monkey Town Brewing Company – Full food menu plus a wide selection of craft beer 🍺
- Firefly Lane – A relaxed wine bar with both light and hearty appetizers 🍷
- Goodfellas New York Pizza & Grill – Much more than pizza, with a full menu available 🍕
- Sons of Smoke – My personal go-to for authentic local BBQ—no chain food here, just passionate pitmasters serving the real thing 🔥
