Saturday/Sunday, June 24-25, Lane Motor Museum
Please join us on an overnight trip to Nashville to visit the Lane Motor Museum. Since there is not a good way to drive backroads to Nashville without adding significant time, please get yourselves at the Museum on Saturday June 24 at 11:30 AM (EDT, 10:30 CDT). We’ve made arrangements to have a catered box lunch provided, and we have use of a private meeting room to eat and relax in. Of course you are free to get there earlier if you wish, remember we gain an hour on the drive over into the Central Time Zone.
Following lunch, we will then have the afternoon to tour the museum. We will have a couple hours to wander around to see the general exhibits, then there will be a special vault tour at 3PM. We have a club member who has been associated with the museum for a while to lead the tour.
The museum closes at 5PM, so from there we will drive to the Fairfield Inn & Suites at Opryland. It is roughly a 10 mile/15-minute drive. As some may wish to leave the museum early, this will not be a group drive and it’s very easy to map it on your phone.

You are encouraged you to book as soon as you are able as that is a popular area. Breakfast is also included in the rate and reservation.
We can have our own informal cocktail hour at the hotel, then meet up at dinner. It will be at the Santa Fe Cattle Company. where will be able to order off the menu. We will have a private room and dinner will be at 7:30PM. The restaurant is a 2-minute walk from our hotel, so no driving required.
On Sunday, you’re free to return on your own schedule.

The cost of the trip is $45 per person. This includes admission to the museum and the private vault tour, along with lunch. Hotel and other meals, etc., are on your own.
