Saturday, December 13th, Kingswood Home for Children
Join us on Saturday. December 13th, for a very special monthly driving tour to Kingswood Home for Children. As in past years, the Smoky Mountain Region PCA is purchasing $75 gift cards for each child at Kingswood. We always combine the delivery of these gifts with a fun driving tour.
Our drive will begin at the Village Green Shopping Center in Farragut and end at Kingswood Home for Children in Bean Station. I’m planning to change the route up a bit, but rest assured that there will be plenty of curvy blacktop roads, rural farmland scenery and maybe even some elevation changes.
Since this is a busy time of the year for everyone, we wanted to get an early start so that this tour will not interfere with your other Holiday plans later in the day or evening. We plan to meet at 9:00 AM and following a short driver’s meeting depart promptly at 9:30 AM. We will arrive at Kingswood around 11:30 AM to present our gifts to the kids and we should be we should be done by noon. After we drop the gifts off at Kingswood and the drive concludes, for those interested, we will grab a bite to eat in Morristown.
