SATURDAY, DECEMBER 10, 2022 – KINGSWOOD HOME FOR CHILDREN
Christmas is coming to the children at Kingswood Home for Children! Thanks to your generosity over the course of 2022, the Smoky Mountain Region PCA is purchasing $75 gift cards for each child at Kingswood. Plans are underway to personally deliver the cards to them in conjunction with a fun driving tour!
So please mark your calendars for Saturday, December 10th for our last driving tour of 2022. Our drive will begin Harper’s Car Wash on Parkside Drive and end at Kingswood Home for Children in Bean Station. In all, the tour is some 83 miles in length and will take about 2 hours to complete, including a rest stop.
Recognizing that this is a busy time of the year for everyone, we wanted to get an early start so that this tour will not interfere with your other Holiday plans later in the day or evening. While details are currently being worked, we plan to meet at 8:30 AM and following a driver’s meeting depart promptly at 9 AM. We will arrive at Kingswood at 11 AM to present our gifts to the kids and we should be done by 11:30 AM. Please contact Bob Baugh at baughbob@yahoo.com to RSVP or for questions.
