Two Day Driving Tour, Banner Elk, NC, August 19-21, 2022
Please join us for a two day overnight drive out to Banner Elk, North Carolina leaving Knoxville on August 19 and returning on August 21. We will stay at the Best Western Mountain Lodge on Friday, August 19 and Saturday August 20.

The weekend will include the drive to Banner Elk on Friday. A social event is scheduled with hors d oeuvres for late that afternoon and dinner is being catered at the hotel on Friday evening. Saturday activities will include a guided hike and drive out with lunch on your own. We will have another social event late Saturday afternoon at the hotel. Dinner on Saturday evening will be on your own and a list of Banner Elk restaurants will be provided to you before we leave Knoxville so that reservations can be made.
Sunday we will return to Asheville via the Blue Ridge Parkway and some interesting side roads.
LODGING: Rooms will be available for a minimum of two nights for $187 per night plus tax. The total room cost per night will be $210.84 and includes breakfast each day. A block of 25 rooms is being reserved. To make a room reservation, it is best to call the hotel directly at 1-828-898-4571. Please let them know you are with the Porsche Club. Make reservations with the hotel no later than July 16, 2022 and a credit card will be required for confirmation. Should you need to cancel, you may do so 72 hours in advance. All non reserved rooms will be released after July 16 for rental to others. It is advisable to call soon as only 25 rooms are included in our block.

DEPARTURE, AGENDA, TRIP FEE AND THE LIKE: A trip fee will be charged to cover the cost of the socials and meal. The amount will be determined before we leave and should be paid before leaving Knoxville. Those arrangements will be completed soon. SEE ABOVE UPDATE
