Heard Round the Zone, August 2025

Good Morning Zone 3 Members!

Not sure how many from Zone 3 are attending Treffen at Sea, but if you are there is a big sail away party Saturday on the pool deck. Angel and I will be on board and look forward to meeting many of you! Looks like it will be a great trip!

Parade Oklahoma City was also a great event. Not many from Zone 3 attended, but we did have two of our regions receive honors for region of the year!  Appalachian Region was awarded as the top Public Service Region of the Year and the First Runner-up for Region of the Year.  Alabama Region was the Second Runner-up for Region of the Year.

October 9 – 10, 2025: Petit Le Mans 2025 Volunteers Needed

It’s that time of year again when we look forward to the world of IMSA descending on Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta for the annual Petit Le Mans!!

PCA is once again hosting the PorschePlatz tent on the inside of 10A with a great view over Turns 10 A/B. Entry to the PorschePlatz tent is by PCA membership card (which is now available as a digital card) or Porsche key. Parking in PorschePlatz requires a special corral parking pass available from Road Atlanta’s ticket office.

To make PorschePlatz work, we need your help. If you would be interested in volunteering for a shift at the PorschePlatz, you’ll receive a t-shirt and, if you volunteer for 2 consecutive shifts, you’ll also get entry into Petit for that day.

Shifts are 8am-12pm and 12pm-5pm on Friday and Saturday and space is limited, so sign up early!
