Saturday, July 29, 2023 – Drive and Lunch
We began at our favorite Kroger Marketplace in Oak Ridge with about 40 cars, and then drove through Oliver Springs and Montgomery, Norma, Pioneer and Newcomb. We picked up 297 through Elk Valley into Jellico, then took 25W through the communities of Morley, Habersham and Duff to our destination in LaFollette. In LaFollette, we took over Katie’s Carry Out & Catering for a late lunch. Katie’s had been recommended by several friends and is a local dining hangout with really good food. We all ate hamburgers, sandwiches, stew, chili and steaks and such, and shared good times.
