November 13, 2021 – We had a great day of driving through the Smokies to Robbinsville, NC, with our destination at club members’ Jason & Madeline’s cabin, Humble Roots Rest (you can rent it, too!). A special catered meal from the Aroma Café in Maryville was set up, (nice Cuban meal with white rice, plantains, beans, grilled chicken or peppered steak, and an empanada). This trip traveled through Newfound Gap, Cherokee, and Bryson City on Hwy 19. The return trip was “DIY” with any route chosen.
