Hello PCA Members in Zone 3!
I hope your summer is off to a great start and you are enjoying your Porsche in the many events that PCA has on offer across the Zone. In about 2 weeks about 150 of us from the Zone will be at Parade in Boca Raton. Attendance expectations are around 2000 total attendees from across all 14 Zones in the US. This will be the first Parade my wife and I have attended since joining PCA in 2008 and I’ll give a brief synopsis of our experience in an up coming eblast.
The Zone continues to grow and we stand at over 8100 primary members and have grown 2.1% through May 31, 2019. Your Region Presidents have been hard at work not only providing you with great events to participate and leading our 16 Regions today, but are actively planning for 2020. We are working on better large event coordination with each other and started that work this past June on our 2nd Qtr Presidents Conference call in which all 16 Regions were present. Some 2020 events will still have conflicts since we just started and some commitments are already in place, but with continued coordination look for less overlap of the bigger events during the coming years. The 5 Regions that provide for DEs in our Zone have also recently met to discuss better date coordination (although somewhat limited by terms set by the various racetracks) and although we may not see the desired results for all of 2020, the discussion has begun and hopefully that will lead to a more coordinated calendar in the future.
I tell you all this to let you know that not only are your Region Presidents working hard in your Region they are also working together for the betterment of the Zone.

We are such a busy Zone the only way you can keep up is check your local region website. You can always check the Zone 3 Website calendar (HERE) but the local Region website is always the go to for all events happening in a given Region. A handy source for all Region website’s in Zone 3 is located HERE.
However, I do want to hi-light a few but note that several events are not shown here because the registration deadline has already passed. Check your Region website for contact details on those events to see if there is any availability.

We are blessed with great leadership in Zone 3, but they cannot do it alone. If you haven’t volunteered in your Region please reach out to your Region President and tell them what you would like to help with, or better yet; ask what do YOU need help with? You will be glad you did and so will all of us!

P.S., Yes the RSR was just as much fun building as the GT3 🙂
