Fall Smoky Mountain Region Drivers Education

The Fall Smoky Mountain Region Drivers Education (DE) Event Registration is now open!
We had an outstanding 2017 DE at Talladega and have reserved a new course for 2018. The event will be 
September 15, 2018 at Atlanta Motorsports Park (AMP). This 2.0 mile road course offers a challenging and safe venue for the club. Be sure to Check out their website.
We will be limited by the number of instructors who sign up (each novice must have an instructor to ride with them per PCA requirements). The cost for the event is $300/driver (no charge to the instructors). To register, please sign up at Club Registration at: https://clubregistration.net/events/signUp.cfm/event/9064
Please include in your submission how many road course or DE events you have completed and approximate dates so that we can place you in the proper run group (novice, intermediate, advanced). If you are a PCA instructor and plan to instruct this information isn’t necessary.
Once we have received our limit for number of cars and have a firm instructor list we will send out another E-mail saying registration is closed and set the run groups. There is a required inspection for your car a short time before the event (several local providers do this) and another inspection will be performed the night before or early morning at the track. We will send out information on that, as well as track rules when the run groups are set. We will provide hotel information at that time as well. Since there is a limit on available spots, you are urged to register soon.
