May 13, 2017 – drive out to Wheels Through Time
Please find attached information pertaining to the upcoming drive out to Wheels Through Time. We have 16 cars registered for this event. In the attachment, you will find details concerning the meeting location, meeting and departure time, driver/passenger list and the driving route.
Our route will take us through Maryville, Townsend, Wears Valley, Great Smoky Mountains National Park and a small portion of the Blue Ridge Parkway. We should arrive at Wheels Through Time at noon. Before touring the museum, we will have a picnic lunch on their grounds. Lunch is not being provided, so please bring your own picnic lunch. The cost of admission to the museum is $12 per person (group pricing). Tours are self-guided and the time typically required to view the museum can range from 1 hour to 4 hours.
This drive formally concludes at the museum, so participants are free to travel home by any route of their choosing. In addition, Waynesville, NC is a short 15 minute drive away and offers lots of shopping and dining establishments.
Please plan on arriving at our meeting location between 8:00 – 8:15 AM. We will depart at 9:00 AM.
